Hello, I’m Vinita Wright. On behalf of Loyola Press and the Days of Deepening Friendship Web site, I welcome you to our Lenten retreat of 2011. We had great response to the retreats of the past two years, and we hope you will be encouraged and spiritually strengthened by the material we’re offering this Lenten season.
View the video below for an overview of what you can expect. Having difficulties viewing? Click here.
Our featured book throughout the retreat will be Here’s My Heart, Here’s My Hand: Living Fully in Friendship with God. The author is Father Bill Barry, a Jesuit writer and a spiritual director for many years.
In the weeks ahead, we’ll offer many opportunities for you to engage with God’s movement in your life.
Mondays: An article based on a chapter of Here’s My Heart, Here’s My Hand, and I’ll suggest a spiritual exercise for the week.
Wednesdays: A short piece on a saint or an important event in history that relates to the themes of our retreat.
Fridays: A reflection of words and images to help you focus and rest.

Looking forward to receiving updates from the Days of Deepening Web site. However, I am not sure that I was able to sign up for the Lenten Retreat 2011 via this on-line site. Please let me know if there is anything further I need to do. Thank you! God’s Blessings, Dorothy Hilton

I feel like I have to thank you, Vinita, for once again is been helping us with your work. I was looking forward for this year Lenten retreat and I’m so glad that you’re doing it again! It’s like e present, sent by God, that I’m anxious like a child to open it. And I will do it, day by day, with you and all our brothers and sisters that are in the same journey!
Thank you and God bless you!

tired of winter, tired of life, tired of everything, that’s is me.
I hope we can walk and grow together in this retreat like the last couple years.
I love the book, but more inportant is your reflections each week and the input
