Our team is taking a breather and regrouping for the continuing journey we share with you through this Website. You’ll be hearing from us before too long.

Thank you, Vinita for sharing your time and expertise with us. Everytime we have Days of Deepening Friendship, I share them with my mom who is 85 years oldand she appreciates it very much. We have attended a seminar-workshop on Ignatian method of praying but things were fuzzy with me until I got involved with . Days of Deepening Friendship. My mom reads everything we are assigned. She says she understands Ignatian spiriituality better since we started to read on your explanations and the speakers you invite to explain things in layman’s term. You have done a great thing and certainly deserve that much needed rest. We look forward to hearing from you again..
Thank you for all your work. Enjoy your rest. I will be looking forward to hearing from you again. We all need breaks!
Thank you for the post about your breather. I was getting worried that something was wrong because there were no new posts. I do enjoy your blog and I look forward to your new posts, whenever they come. Enjoy your well deserved rest.
When my co-worker (volunteer) rescued some beautiful books that another volunteer had thrown in the dumpster, I noticed one entitled “Thrift Store SAINTS”. I took it home and, although I had worked all day running The Angel Shop, I started reading and did not put it down until I finished.
The Angel Society owns and operates a thrift shop. All volunteer workers staff it. We donate all our net proceeds to non-profit organizations to benefit our community and surrounding area in North San DiegoCounty. Although we do not donate directly to individuals, we are close to 3 million dollars in cash donations in the 33 years since we started this endeavor.
I can relate to Jane’s experiences and will be passing her book along to other board members. Our shop is located only 2 blocks from the local St. Vincent de Paul and we serve many of the same customers. Neither of us accept credit cards. We also refer donations to each other.
