Vinita Dear,
I attend the LA Congress every year, but due to a hip joint problem, I have had to pass on this year’s congress. I am soooooo disappointed that I won’t be one of the ones at your tea, because I would have liked to tell you personally how very much you nourish my spirit, Lenten and otherwise. I have learned much from your blog, both through your wisdom, and the comments of others who don’t seem to be much different from myself in terms of understanding where we are given our age moving forward, even if we aren’t. So, have a happy tea with your free souls, and thanks for all you do. God be with you, and all LA dattendees. And don’t forget to see Father Tony.
Helen, I’m so sorry I won’t be seeing you! Your words encourage me; people like you make this blog a good place to be. Take care of that hip and say a prayer or two for us. Peace–Vinita
