In the late autumn of my life, I’m still wondering what I’m supposed to do when I grow up….

Vinita thank you so much for these thoughts today….. my birthday one indeed in late autumn. It is also Lunar New Year for our Chinese and Asian friends. For me these two new years coinciding brought me to a very reflective place this morning. And your beautiful thoughts took me to new places and new insights, Pat

I have much to be thankful for, one in particular being my conversion to the Roman Catholic Church 22 years ago – this continues to bring me many blessings I would not have otherwise experienced had I remained in the church I belonged to years ago which lacked fullness, completeness. My career in health care is another area of deep satisfaction, my marriage of 40 years, my grown daughter who is established in her own career. I have a better appreciation of living one day at a time these days, whereas when I was younger I seemed to always be looking forward to the future, not taking in the fullness of the here and now.
